Lincoln Center Ready
For Summer Activities
SUMMER RECREATION ACTIVITIES at Lincoln Center in
College Station, including crafts, team sports and story telling,
are under way.
The center, located at Holleman and Eleanor Streets, is open
daily Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sessions are
crafts from 10 -noon; games, sports, story telling and reading
from 1-5 p.m., and sports, table games and special events from 6-9
p.m.
The morning and afternoon programs are for children four or
older. Nighttime activities are for teens and adults.
VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS for the program are being
requested by the Texas A&M parks and recreation department,
supervisors of the summer session. Equipment specifically
needed includes fans and air conditioners, a refrigerator, craft
supplies and games.

and recreation department.
