The Budget and Admissions Committee of the College Station United
Chest will begin review of budget requests in the latter part of July,
1972. You will be informed of a definite date, time, and place prior
to the meeting.
In order for us to prepare for this meeting, the Committee has
requested that you send me six codes of your budget requests including
the following items, by July 15, 1972, at the address listed above.
1. Certification that your agency is governed by a Board of
Directors which serves without compensation and exercises
administrative control.
2. A statement outlining the purpose of the agency.
a. --Meeting a recognized need
b. --Offering private welfare services
C. --No avoidable duplication of other organized
organizations
d. --Involving a significant portion of population
3. Detailed statement of income and expenses for last year.
4. Detailed statement of budgeted items for current year.
5. Budget approved by Board of Directors (detailed estimates
of expenses and income for next year).
6. Service statistics, persons served.
7. Statement that agency's account is audited annually by an
Audit Committee appointed by President of agency.
8. A statement that the agency, if it receives funds, will not
raise money by any method in the area served by the College
Station United Chest without special authorization of the
College Station United Chest Board of Directors.
