members in the Brazos Valley Schools Credit
Union. Benefits include provisions for share
accounts, loans, payroll deductions, money
orders, etc.
DEFERRED COMPENSATION
The City offers two (2) voluntary deferred
compensation plans administered by I.C.M.A.

plans, the employee does not pay current income
taxes on earnings that are deferred. As a result,
the employee's taxes are reduced and the
savings are invested in a high -performing fund.
EDUCATIONAL REIMBURSEMENT
All regular, full-time employees who have worked
for the City at least one (1) year are eligible for
educational reimbursement. The courses must
be taken at an accredited college, university, or
technical school and must be job related.
Reimbursement shall be for tuition, laboratory
fees, or other school service fees, within a total
yearly maximum of $1,000.00 ($500.00 per
semester).
Police and Fire may become eligible for
certification pay in lieu of educational
