KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF BRAZOS )
THAT, Herbert H. Alford, Grantor, of the County of Brazos, State
of Texas, for and in consideration of the payment of TEN and
NO/100 DOLLARS, cash, and other good and valuable consideration,
in hand paid to GRANTOR by the CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has GRANTED, SOLD
and CONVEYED and by these presents does GRANT, SELL, and CONVEY
unto the said CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, a Texas Municipal Corpora-
tion, certain rights and interests in the nature of a Temporary
Construction Easement on and through the following described
property:
Being a strip of land in the J.E. Scott
League in College Station, Texas, twelve
and one-half ( 12. 5 ' ) feet in width
through Lot 3 in Block 1 of College
Park, an addition to the City of College �•
Station, Texas, according to plat of
record in Volume 38 , Page 602 of the
Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas,
being a part of that tract conveyed to
Herbert H. Alford by deed recorded in
Volume 278 , Page 250 of the Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas.
Provided, however, that this conveyance shall

Being a strip of land in the J . E . Scott League in College
Station, Texas, twelve and one-half ( 12 . 5 ' ) feet in width through
Lot 3 in Block 1 of College Park, an addition to the City of
College Station, Texas, according to plat of record in Volume 38,
Page 602 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas , being a
part of that tract conveyed to Herbert H. Alford by deed recorded
in Volume 278, Page 250 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and being more particularly described as follows :
Beginning in the southeast line of Jersey Street at the most
westerly corner of that tract conveyed to the City of College
Station by deed recorded, in Volume 119 page 312 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas , which is also in the northwest
line of the said Lot 3 in Block 1 of College Park, N 41° 29 ' E -
115 feet from an iron rod found at the intersection of the
southeast line of Jersey Street and the northeast line of
Montclair Avenue.

assigns, forever, and GRANTOR does hereby bind himself, his heirs
and assigns, to warrant and forever defend, all and singular,
these rights and interests unto the CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEX-
AS, and its successors and assigns, against every person whomso-
ever lawfully claiming, or to claim same, or any part thereof.
