KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF BRAZOS *
THAT, 0. D. BUTLER and EDSEL G. JONES, GRANTORS, of the
County of Brazos, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the
payment of TEN AND NO/100 DOLLARS, cash, and other good and
valuable consideration, in hand paid to GRANTOR by the City of
College Station, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged,
HAVE GRANTED, SOLD, AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT,
SELL, and CONVEY unto the said City of College Station, a Texas
Municipal Corporation certain rights and interests in the nature
of an EASEMENT on and through the following described property:
Being situated in the Crawford Burnett League, Abstract 7,
in Brazos County, Texas and being a PART OF A 195 . 92 acre
tract described in a Partition Deed between 0. D. Butler,
Edsel Jones, and Henry Grady Jones, by deed recorded in
Volume 279, Page 224 (of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas.
Provided however, that this conveyance shall grant the rights
herein specified only as to that portion of the above described
property more particularly described by cpurse, width, and
centerline on the attached Exhibit "A", known as the "Easement
Area" .

Water transmission and distribution lines, and related
facilities and equipment.

upon, over, and across said property as herein described and any
ways, streets, roads, or alleys abutting same; and to cut, trim
and control the growth of trees and other vegetation on and in
the easement area or on adjoining property of Grantor, which
might interfere with or threaten the operation and maintenance of
any public utility equipment, accessories, or operations . It is
understood and agreed that any and all equipment and facilities
placed upon said property shall remain the property of Grantee .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the rights and interests herein described
unto the CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, and its succesors and
assigns forever, and GRANTORS DO hereby bind themselves, their
heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend, all and
singular, these rights and interests unto the CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, and its successors and assigns, against every
person whomsoever lawfully claiming, or the claim same, or any
part thereof.

O.D. BUTLER & E.G. JONES
Being a strip of land 20 feet wide for a permanent water transmission
line easement situated in the Crawford Burnett League, Abstract 7, in
Brazos County, Texas, being a part of the remaining portion of a 195.92
acre tract belonging to O.D. Butler and E.G. Jones, described by deed
recorded in Volume 279, Page 224 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and the centerline of said 20-foot easement being more fully
described as follows:
BEGIN at an iron pin in the west corner of a 6.79 acre tract conveyed
to Edsel G. Jones by deed recorded in Volume 387, Page 699 of the
Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said iron pin also being in the
northeast right-of-way line of State Highway FM 2154; Thence northeast
10.0 feet along the common property line between said 6.79 acre tract
and the remaining portion of said 195.92 acre tract to the POINT OF
BEGINNING of this DESCRIPTION;
THENCE N 47° 02' W 331 feet parallel with and 10 feet northeast of
said right-of-way line to an angle point;
THENCE N 30° 44' W 534 feet parallel with and 10 feet northeast of
said right-of-way line to an angle point;
THENCE N 2° 45 ' W 175 feet parallel with and 10 feet northwest of
said right-of-way line to a point in the southeast right-of-way line
of State Highway 2818, said point being northeast 11 feet along said
southeast right-of-way line from a right-of-wa
