KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF BRAZOS *
THAT, JOE P. HOLLINGSWORTH and wife, PEGGY LOU
HOLLINGSWORTH, joining herein pro forma, GRANTORS, of the County
of Brazos, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the
payment of TEN AND NO/100 DOLLARS, cash, and other good and
valuable consideration, in hand paid to GRANTOR by the City of
College Station, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged,
HAVE GRANTED, SOLD, AND CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT,
SELL, and CONVEY unto the said City of College Station, a Texas
Municipal Corporation certain rights and interests in the nature
of an EASEMENT on and through the following described property:
Being situated in the Crawford Burnett League, Abstract 7
in Brazos County, Texas and being '

Provided however, that this conveyance shall grant the rights
herein specified only as to that portion of the above described
property more particularly described by course, width, and
centerline on the attached Exhibit "A", known as the "Easement
Area" .
To erect, construct, install,
and thereafter
use, operate,
inspect, repair, maintain, reconstruct,
modify, and remove the
following:
Water transmission and distribution lines, and related
facilities and equipment.
VAS,
upon, over, and across said property as herein described and any
ways, streets, roads, or alleys abutting same; and to cut, trim
and control the growth of trees and other vegetation on and in
the easement area or on adjoining property of Grantor, which
might interfere with or threaten the operation and maintenance of
any public utility equipment, accessories, or operations . It is
understood and agreed that any and all equipment and facilities
placed upon said property shall remain the property of Grantee.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the rights and interests herein described
unto the CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, and its succesors and
assigns forever, and GRANTORS DO hereby bind themselves, their
heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend, all and
singular, these rights and interests unto the CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, and its successors and assigns, against every
person whomsoever lawfully claiming, or the claim same, or any
part thereof.

JOE P. HOLLINGSWORTH
Being a strip of land 20 feet wide for a permanent water transmission
line easement situated in the Crawford Burnett League, Abstract 7, in
Brazos County, Texas, being a part of a 1.89 acre tract conveyed to
Joe P. Hollingsworth by deed recorded in Volume 320, Page 503 of the
Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and the centerline of said 20-foot
easement being more fully described as follows:
BEGIN at a point in the northeastern right-of-way line of State Highway
FM 2154, said point also being in the common corner of said 1.89 acre
tract and of a 6.79 acre tract conveyed to Edsel G. Jones by deed re-
corded in Volume 387, Page 699 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas; Thence northeast 10.0 feet along the common property line
between said 1.89 acre tract and said 6.79 acre tract to the POINT OF
BEGINNING of this DESCRIPTION;
THENCE S 47° 02' E 260.56 feet parallel with and 10.0 feet northeast
of said right-of-way line of FM 2154 to a point in the common property
line between said 1.89 acre tract and a 2.5 acre tract conveyed to
Ed Marshall by deed recorded in Volume 159, Page 444 of the Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas, said point being located northeast 10.0 feet
along said common property line from the south corner of said 1.89 acre
tract, said corner being in the northeast right-of-way line of FM 2154,
said point also being the end of this 20-foot permanent easement.
An additional easement for construction purposes is granted for a
period of one (1) year from the date hereon, said construction ease-
ment being a 50-foot wide strip of land and the westerly line of said
construction easement being coincident with the westtrly line of said
20-foot permanent water transmission line easement.
