The Board of Directors of The Texas A&M University System, • hereinafter called Board, acting herein by and through the. President of the System, pursuant to authority of Chapter 228, Acts of the 54th Legislature, 1955, the President being authorized further by Minute Order No. 257-67, a reproduction of which is attached as Exhibit A, in consideration of mutual benefits to be derived by the respective parties, and subject to existing , easements of record and conditions recited herein, hereby grants to the City of College Station, Texas, a power line easement on and across the land in Brazos County described by metes and bounds in Exhibit B and shown on the plat in Exhibit C attached and made a part hereof. 2. The easement herein granted is restricted to the construction by the City of College Station of a single power line. The construction of a future power line or lines will require approval of the; University. It is provided, also, that should the power line constructed on the easement herein granted be in the way of anyfuture construction proposed or spon- sored by Texas A&M University, it will be removed without cost to the University. 3. The grantee is granted the right of ingress and egress to and from said easement for the purpose of constructing, erecting, maintain- ing, repairing, replacing, and rebuilding said_ facility and such right is not granted for any other purpose.
