AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION OF
REZONING BLOCK 5, LOTS 1 THROUGH 25 OF THE UNIVERSITY OAKS SUBDIVISION,
SECTION 2, FROM DISTRICT NO. 3, APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT TO DISTRICT
NO. 2, SECOND DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT, AND SAID PROPERTY IS LOCATED
BEHIND LOTS ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF KYLE AND GILCHRIST STREETS BETWEEN
MUNSON AVENUE AND JAMES PARKWAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that all
land described herein be rezoned from District No. 3, Apartment House District to
District No. 2, Second Dwelling House District,
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be held at the City Hall in College
Station, Texas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23; 1970, on the question of rezoning
certain areas within the city limits as follows:
To rezone Block 5, Lots 1 through 25 of University Oaks Subdivision, Section 2.
This block is as shown on the Final Plat of University Oaks Subdivision, Section 2, and
is located behind lots on the southeast side of Kyle and Gilchrist Streets between Munson
Avenue and James Parkway, from District No. 3, Apartment House District to District
No. 2, Second Dwelling House District.
Notice of said hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of College Station at least three times, the first publication of which shall
be not less than 15 days prior to the date fixed for the hearing.
