AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 p. m. on January 26, 1970 on the question of receiving certain territory into
the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all parties pertaining thereto,
has determined the following:
Upon compliance with Article II, Section 7, of the City Charter and applicable
laws of the State of Texas, the following territory shall be incorporated within the city
limits:
Beginning at a point in the east right of way line of State Highway No. 6,
said point also being 200 feet south of the South R. O. W. line of Miller's
Lane as described in Ordinance No. 625 ( Tract No. 1).
Thence, along the east right of way line of Highway No. 6, approximately
1, 260 feet to a point, said point being further described as Texas Highway
Department Station No. 110 + 00 of Highway No. 6;
Thence with an angle of 90 degrees to the right across Highway No. 6,
a distance of 100 feet to a concrete Right of Way marker in the West
Right of Way line of Highway No. 6;
Thence, in a Westerly direction a distance of approximately 1, 800 feet
to a point, said point described as being 500 feet south of and perpendicular
to a concrete Right of Way marker in the South Right of Way line of FM 2818, said
marker being at Station 531 + 00 of FM 2818;
Thence, in a Westerly direction along a line 500 feet south of and perpen-
dicular to the South Right of Way line of FM 2818, to a point; said point
being 500 feet South of and perpendicular to a concrete right of way
marker located at Station 455 + 31. 2 of FM 2818;
Thence, in a Southwesterly direction, a distance of approximately 1,100
feet to a concrete marker; said marker being the intersection of the south
right of way line of FM 2818 and the East Right of Way line of FM 2154.

Thence in a Northwesterly direction along an extension of the East
Right of Way line of FM 2154, a distance of approximately 1, 950 feet
to a point, said point also being a corner in the present city limit line
as described in Ordinance No. 625 (Tract II).
Thence in a Northwesterly direction continuing along the East right
of way line of FM 2154, a distance of approximately 975 feet to a concrete
marker; said marker being the intersection of the East Right of Way line
of FM 2154 and the North Right of Way line of FM 2818 and also being in
the present city limit line;
Thence along the North Right of Way line of FM 2818, the present city
limit line, to a concrete marker located at Station 538 + 30 of FM 2818.
Thence in an Easterly direction along the present city limit line and
across the intersection of FM 2818 and highway No. 6, a distance of
approximately 790 feet to the place of beginning and containing 115 acres
more or less.
