WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station has
determined to widen the street known as Holleman Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into negotiations with
certain owners of land contiguous to and adjoining said street
in lieu of condemnation in order to widen said street; and
WHEREAS, the conveyance or dedication of said parcels of land to
the City for the purpose of an easement for said street could
render said parcels substandard in size, and adversely affect their
qualification for building permits in the future; which is contrary
to the intention of the City Council;
NOW THEREFORE, the City of College Station, Texas does hereby
resolve that any lot adjoining Holleman Street, which is rendered
substandard in size by the conveyance of a right-of-way thereon to
the City shall not be adversely affected as to qualification for a
building permit, and said permits shall issue as if such lot or lots
were of standard size.
