Mayor Pro-Tem Halter, Councilmen Ringer, Boughton, Dozier, Jones, City Manager Bardell, Zoning Official Callaway, City Engineer Ash, Community Development Planner Kee, Mayor Bravenec, Councilman Adams See guest register Agenda Item No.1--Discussion of Railroad Relocation Study. Zoning Official Callaway explained that the Mayor had asked for direction on this item. He further explained the 11 alternatives and answered questions of the Council. Councilman Dozier suggested meeting with representatives from Bryan to decide on the proper plan. The Council decided that alternatives D (grade separation), G (partial 2818 by pass), H (partial 2818 by pass and M.P. reroute), and I (total 2818 by pass) were the best choices. A~enda Item No.2--Discussion of Public Transportation Study. Tom Urbanek, with Texas Transportation Institute, explained that the Council needed to appoint a committee to decide whether or not to proceed with the grant application after studying the report. Mayor Pro-Tem Halter appointed Councilman Boughton, Mayor Bravenec and himself to the committee to study the report. Asenda Item No.3--City Manager's report on Council Priorities (first half). Mayor Pro-Tem Halter suggested that the report wait until the Mayor returned, because it was his request that this be considered. Agenda Item No.4--Closed session to discuss land acquisition. The Council moved to closed session and later opened to the public. ~enda Item No.4--Adjourn. Mayor Pro-Tem Halter declared the meeting adjourned. ATTEST. ~ City Secretary
