MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
May 24, 1965
C)b Members Present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Boyett, Rosprim, Holt, Holleman,
Orr, Rhodes; City Attorney Sandstedt; City Manager Boswell.
Visitors Present; Ralph Rogers, R. L. Skrabanek, John T. Morrow, Melvin C.

Minutes of previous meetings were approved.
On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, the council
voted to rescind its action on the petition presented to it on the paving of
Gilchrist Avenue from Highway 6 to Puryear Drive. The motion carried unani-
mously.
On motion by Councilman Boyett, seconded by Councilman Orr, the bid from
B -W Construction Company in the amount of $107,015.57, was accepted for street
improvements for the fiscal year 1965-66.
On motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Holt, the firm of
Durst, Wood and Ingram was engaged to audit fiscal affairs for the city for
the year ending June 30, 1965.
t`I On motion by Councilman Holleman, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, the city
manager was authorized to build an electric transmission line along the east
side of Highway 6 from Sulphur Springs Road to an existing circuit near'Kyle
Avenue.

On motion by Councilman Holt, seconded by Councilman Orr, the council
accepted dedication of right-of-way for street extending from Rosemary Lane in
Ow an easterly direction to Highway 6.
