AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 9.072 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE ROBERT
STEVENSON LEAGUE ABSTRACT NO. 5~, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING A PART OF THE DAVID R.
BOLTON iO.772 ACRE TRACT RECORDED IN VOLUHE 560, PAGE 93, DEED RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY
FROH AGRICULTURE-OPEN DISTRICT A-O TO GENERAL COHMERCIAL DISTRICT C-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Councll held a public hearing in the Clty Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday,
Deco, abet 8, 1983 on the question of rezonJng certain areas within the
City Limits:
AND, NHEREAS, the Clty Council has determined the followlng:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 9.O72 acre tract of land lying
and being situated in the Robert Stevenson League Abstract No. 5~, Brazos County, Texas,
and being a part oF the Davld R. Bolton 10.772 acre tract recorded in Volume 560, page 93,
Deed Records of sald county and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a found 1/2" iron rod for the west corner of said 10.772 acre tract
of land;
THENCE N 45013'06" E along the southeast right-of-way llne of an 80' wide County
Road (Barton Road) a distance of 30.00~ to a found 1/2" iron rod for the west corner of a
0.50 acre tract of land recorded In Volume 516, page 39, Deed Records of said county;
THENCE S 43°52~q0' E a distance of 217.80' to a set 1/2" iron rod for the south
corner of said 0.50

acre tract of land;
THENCE S q6°08'30' E along the old right-of-way ilne of State Highway IJo. 6 a
distance of 983.37~ to a found 1/2" iron rod for the east corner of said 10.772 acre tract
of land;
THENCE S qq°qO'36" ~ a distance of 110.01' to a set 1/2" Iron rod in the new
right-of-way llne of State Highway No. 6;

THENCE S qq°40'36" W a distance of 429.71' to a set 1/2" iron rod for the south
corner of said 10.772 acre tract of land;
THENCE N 43°52~40" W a distance of 988.32' to the POINT OF BEGINNING and con-
taining 9.072 acres of land more or less, from Agrlculture-Open Olstrlct A-O to General
Commerclal District C-1.
And, It is ordained that sald change shall become effective immediately.
