AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 1.7OO ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE ROBERT
STEVENSON LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO. 54, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING A PART OF THE DAVID R.
BOLTON 10.772 ACRE TRACT RECORDED IN VOLUME 560, PAGE 93 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS
COUNTY, FROM AGRICULTURE-OPEN DISTRICT A-O TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
NHEREAS, the City Councll held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday,
Dec6trber 8, 1983 on the question of rezonlng certain areas within the

AND, NHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classlflcation of all that certain 1.700 acre tract of land, lylng
and being situated In the Robert Stevenson League, Abstract No. 54, Brazos County, Texas,
and being a part of the David R. Bolton 10.772 acre tract recorded in Volume 560, Page 93
of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; said 1.700 acres being more particularly
descrlbed by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
COMMENCING at a found 1/2" iron rod at the Nest corner of said 10.772 acre tract;
THENCE along the Southeast right-of-way line of an 80 foot wide County Road
(Barton Road) the fQllowlng calls:
North 45u13~06'' East a distance of 30.00 feet to a found 1/2" iron rod for the
Nest corner of a 0.50 acre tract recorded in Volume 516 Page 39 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas;
North 45°13'06'' East a distance of 100.00 feet to a found 1/2" iron rod for the
East corner of said 0.50 acre tract and the Nest corner of a 0.50 acre tract recorded in
Volume 523, Page 45~ of the Oeed Records of Brazos County, Texas;
North 45 13~06'' East a distance of 100.00 feet to a set 1/2" iron rod for the
East corner of sald 0.50 acre tract recorded in Volume 523, Page 457 and the POINT OF
BEGINNING;
North 45°13'06'' East a distance of 96.23 Feet to a set 1/2" iron rod;
THENCE North 88°51~29" East along the new right-of-way line of State Highway
No. 6 a distance of 91.20 feet to a set 1/2" iron rod;
THENCE South q6°08'30" East along the new Southwest right-of-way line of State
Highway No. 6 whlch 1les 110.00 feet In a Southwesterly direction and parallel with the
old right-of-way llne of State Highway No. 6, a distance of 319.92 feet to a set 1/2"
iron rod;
THENCE South 45o13'06" Nest a distance of 245.26 feet to a set 1/2" iron rod;
THEUCE North 44°46~54" Nest a distance of 165.00 feet to a set 1/2" iron rod;
THENCE North 45°13~06" East a d~stance of 72.00 feet to a set I/2" iron rod for
the East corner of sald 0.50 acre tract recorded in Volume 523, Page 457;
THENCE North 43052'40.' Nest a distance of 217.80 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
and contalnlng 1.700 acres of land, from Agriculture Open Distrlct A-O to General Commercial
District C-1.

And, It is ordained that said change shall become effective Immediately.
