~i ORDINANCE RECEIVING
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY
CITY OF COLLEGE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an affidavit having been made by all of the owners of
the hereinafter described territory adjoining the limits of the
City of College Station, Texas, to the effect that there are no
registered voters residing within the boundaries of the
hereinafter described territory and that the affiants are the
sole owners of the hereinafter described territory, and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid affidavit having been filed with the City
Secretary who has certified the same to the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council by virtue of the authority
conferred by Article II, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of
College Station, Texas, approved April 1, 1978, by th~s ordinance
does hereby receive such territory within the incorporated limits
of the City of College Station, Texas, such territory being more
particularly described as follows:
TRACT K
Being all that certain 54.99 acre tract or parcel of
land located in the Thomas Caruthers League A-54,
Brazos County, Texas, more particularly described
in the description attached hereto and marked Exhibit
"B", save and except that portion of land proposed in
the right-of-way taking for State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation Project Number
8017-1-25, I.P.E. Number 069 and 294.
Attached to and incorporated herein as a part of this Ordinance
is a service plan, marked Exhibit "A", providing for the
extension of municipal services into the duly described
territory, said plan having been presented at the public hearing
heretofore named and subsequently approved by the city council of
the City of College Station, Texas.
PASSED and APPROVED this 13th day of October, 1983.

SERVICE PLAN
TO Whom It May Concern:
This document addresses the extension of Municipal Services
within a 54.99 acre tract located in the Thomas Caruthers League
and the Robert Stevenson League adjacent to and south of the
current city limits and as described more fully in the ordinance
of annexation.
The City Council of the City of College Station, by action on
October 13~ 1983,and prior to the passage of the ordinance of
annexation of the above-named tract, did approve Resolution No.
10-13-83-04 , entitled A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PLAN OF
SERVICE FOR ANNEXATION OF ~5~0 ACRES ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 6 TO
THE SOUTH OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS. Said
Resolution, duly recorded in the official MINUTES RECORDS of the
C~ty of College Station and available for v~ewing in the office
of the City Secretary, provides for the extension of municipal
services into this area, as prescribed by the provisions of
Article 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, as amended by
1iB-1952.

RESOLUTION NO. 10-13-83-04 explains the extension plan and
provides complete information relating to each of the above-named
municipal services.

Exhibit B
BEING all that certain 54.99 acre tract of land
situated in the Thomas Caruthers League, Abst. No. 9,
and the Robert Stephenson League, Abst. No. 54 and
being that land conveyed to Henry B. Clay from Rock
Prairie Properties, Inc. by deed recorded in Vol. 251,
Page 37, Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, that
land conveyed to Henry Clay from the Veterans Land ·
Board by deed recorded in Volume 231, Page 197, Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas, that land conveyed to
Henry B. Clay from Rock Prairie Properties, Inc. by
Deed recorded in Volume 259, Page 437, Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas, and that land conveyed to Jay B.
Kirksey from the Veterans Land Board by deed recorded
in Volume 233, Page 343, Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and being described as follows:
BEGINNING at the West corner at the intersection of the
East right-of-way line of Rock Prairie Road and the East
right-of-way line of State Highway 6 at an iron stake
for corner;
THENCE S 29-44 E 430.5 ft. along the East right-of-way
line of State Highway 6 to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE N 43-23 E 992.0 ft. to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE S 45-51 E 717.1 ft. to an angle point;
THENCE S 44-58 E 485.5 ft. to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE N 53-16 E 927.8 ft. to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE N 0-09 W 1055.3 ft. to an iron stake for corner
in the East right-of-way line of the Rock Prairie Road;
THENCE N 84-03 W 1136.4 ft. along the East right-of-way
line of the Rock Prairie Road to an iron stake for corner
at a curve in the road;
THENCE along the East right-of-way line of the Rock
Prairie Road for the following calls:
S 45-00 W 962.8 ft. to an angle point;
S 51-01 W 875.0 ft. to the place of beginning and con-
taining 54.99 acres of land more o~ less, accordin$ to
survey prepared by Henry P. O'Neal, Registered Professional
Engineer, on December 14, 1968;
And being the same land set out and described in a certain
deed from Henry B. Clay to Grantors dated December 31, 1968,
and being recorded in Volume 275, at Page 119, of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas.
