AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 0.70 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND AND COMPRISING THIRTY-
FIVE FEET OF LOT 8, AND ALL OF LOTS 9 AND 10, BLOCK 2, WEST PARK ADDITION TO TtIE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, PLAT OF SAID ADDITION BEING RECORDED IN VOLUME 102,
PAGE 198 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT R-I TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-lA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Councll held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Thursday, on the question of rezonlng certain
areas within the City Limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 0.70 acre tract or parcel of land and
comprising thirty-five feet of lot 8, and all of lots 9 and ]0, block 2, West Park
Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of said addition being recorded
in Volume ]02, Page ]98 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas an being more
partlcu]ariy described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Northeast right-of-way line of
Highland Street with the Northwest right-of-way line of Park Place;
THENCE Northeasterly along said Northwest right-of-way line of Park Place for
a distance of 215.00 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE Northwesterly along the rear property lines of said lots 8, 9, and I0,
block 2 for a dlstance of 142.00 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE Southwesterly across lot 8 and running parallel to the Northwest right-
of-way llne of Park Place for a distance of 215.00 feet to an iron rod for corner,
same lying on the Northeast right-of-way llne of Highland Street;
THENCE Southeasterly along the Northeast right-of-way line of Highland Street
for a distance of 142.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 0.70 acres of
land, more or less, from Single Family Residential District R-I to Single Family
Residential District R-lA.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
