AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, SECTION l, SUB-SECTION B. {28) nF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF COLLEGE STATION RELATING TO BUILDING
REGULATIONS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION THAT:
Chapter 3, Section 1, Sub-section B. (28) of the Code of Ordinances,
City of College Station, Texas is hereby amended to read as follows:
(28) Section 1105 - Means of Egress Capacity
Requirements - Occupant Content
Section 1105.1 (a) shall be amended as
follows: "Assembly without fixed seats, the area
per occupant (sq. ft.) shall be 15 net."
Section 1105 (b) shall be amended to read as
follows: "The area of occupant (sq. ft.) listed in the
table shall not limit the occupant of civic, social, and
religious functions where no consumption of alcoholic
beverage is permitted providing the capacity of the
exits serving that floor area is not exceeded."
Section 1105 (c) shall be deleted.
II.
Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any purpose, the
remainder of this ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
III.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conf)ict herewith are repealed to
the extent of the conflict only.
IV.
And, it is ordained that this ordinance shall become effective from and after
its passage in accordance with the city charter of the City of College Station.
