AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE AGREEMENT DATED
February24, 1983 BETWEEN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ON
PROJECT NO. 8017-1-25 ON SOUTH HIGHWAY 6 IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION:
SECTION 1. That the certain agreement dated Feb. ~4, 198S between
the State of Texas and the City of College Station, for the
procurement of right-of-way on the Project No. 8017-1-25 on South
Highway 6 in the City of College Station, be and the same is
hereby approved, and Gary Halter, Mayor of the City of College,
Station is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf
of the City of College Station, and to transmit the same to the
State of Texas for appropriate action.
SECTION 2. The fact that the procedures contemplated under the
above mentioned agreement are needed, and general welfare
requires that this Ordinance take effect immediately from and
after its passage, it is accordingly so ordained.
PASSED and APPROVED this 24th day of February , 1983.
