AN ORDINANCE REZONING 20.965 ACRES OF A 70.293 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING
SITUATED IN THE MORGAN RECTOR SURVEY, A-46, IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS
AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM
AGRICULTURE OPEN SPACE DISTRICT A-O TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-I.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall aL 7:00 P.M. on
Januaz7 27, , 1983 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of the following tract of land lying and being
situated in the Morgan Rector Survey, A-46, in College Station, Brazos County, Texas,
and being a part of that 70.293 acre tract conveyed to Windwood Joint Venture by
Leon W. Stasney, et-al, by deed recorded in Volume 377, page 34 of the Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING: at an iron rod at the East corner of lot 43, block one of W~nd-
wood, Phase Two according to a plat recorded in volume 463, page 365 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas;
THENCE: S 32°06'53'' E - 624.82 feet to an iron rod for corner; said iron
rod also being the beginning of a curve to the left, having a radius of 835.00 feet;
THENCE: S 22°18'48" E - 181.98 feet along the chord of said curve to the
left to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE: S 44o28'53" E - 211.08 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE:
rod also being the East right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6;

20.965 acres of land, more or less, according to a survey made under the supervision

Open Space D~strlct A-O to Single Family Residentlal District R-1.
And, it is ordained that said changes shall become effective immediately.
