NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
That said election was duly called, that notice of said
election was given in accordance with law; that said election
was held in accordance with law; and that Larry Ringer, Mayor,
is hereby authorized to sign the statement of Canvass of General
Election, which shall be attached to and become a part of this
Resolution and a copy of which shall be retained by the
custodian of the election records, and
That Fred Brown was duly elected to City Council Place No.
1; that Lynn McIlhaney was duly elected to City Council Place No.
~ 3; and that Jim Gardner was duly elected to City Council Place

Said above-named parties are hereby declared duly elected

CANVASS OF GENERAL ELECTION
I, Larry J. Ringer, Mayor, of the City of College Station,
Texas, met with the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas, sitting as the canvassing board to canvass
the general election of April 4, 1987, on April 8, 1987.
