AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A CONTRACT WIT~
SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO
TEE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION AND PROVIDING FUNDING FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF A RAILROAD CROSSING ON HOLLEMAN DRIVE WEST OF
WELLBORN ROAD.
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of January, 1985, the City Council met
in its regular meeting and considered a proposed contract with
Southern Pacific Transportation Company granting a crossing
easement to the City for the installation of a crossing on
Holleman Drive west of Wellborn Road.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T~E CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract
agreeing that the City of college Station will provide funding
for the installation of a crossing on Holleman Drive west of
Wellborn Road in consideration for a crossing easement over the
railroad right-of-way.
