AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 6.56 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND, LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN
THE HORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE, ABSTRACT h6, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING HORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE, FROM APARTMENTS LOW DENSITY
DISTRICT R-~ TO APARTHENTS MEDIUM DENSITY DISTRICT R-5.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Councll held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thurs-
day, July 12, 198~, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the City
Limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Councll has determined the foll owlng:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain 6.56 acre tract or parcel of
land in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract ~6, Brazos County, Texas, and being more parti-
cularly descrlbed by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the North corner of Lot 30, Block 1, Brentwood Section One, an addition
to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of said addition being recorded in Volume 335,
Page 313 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and also being the West corner of
Lot I, Block 3, Brentwood, Section Two an addition to the City of College Station, Texas,
plat of said addition being recorded in Volume 35q, Page 131 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas;
THENCE N ~1°~8'30E for a dlstance of 530.09 feet to an iron for corner;
THENCE S 48011'30" E for a distance of hS.00 to the beginning of a curve to the
right;
THENCE Northwesterly along Aald curve to the right for an arc distance of 22~.61 feet,
(Curve Data: CeRtral angle = O9V47~32'', Radius = 131~.24 feet, Tangent = 112.58 feet, the
Chord Bears S h3v17'h3' E for a distance of 22q.3~ feet);
THENCE S 38°23'57'' E for a distance of 68.81 feet to the beginning of a curve to the
left;
THENCE Northwesterly along ~aid curve to the left for an arc distance of 197.30 feet,
(Curve Oata: Cestral angle = O9 q4~14", Radius = 1160.95 feet, Tangent - 98.89 feet, the
Chord Bears 5 43 16'O1" E for a distance of 197.O6 feet);
THENCE S h8°O8'O3" E for a distance of 7.91 feet to a point on the Southeast line
of BlocL One, KFO Addition - Phase II;
THENCE N hl°qq'24'' E for a distance of 532.h5 feet to an iron rod for corner:
THENCE 5 50°17'24'' E for a distance of 235.03 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE N 41o54'04.' E for a distance of 56.19 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE S h8°11~30'' E for a distance of 3Oh.88 feet to the PLACE OF'BEGINNING and
containing 6.56 acres of land, more or less from Apartments Low Density Oistrict R-q to
Apartments Medium Oensity District R-5.
