AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A UTILITY EASEMENT IN THE
CRAWFORD SURNETT LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 7, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS
COUNTY, TEXAS, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF A TEMPORARY BLANKET
EASEMENT EXECUTED ON THE TWO LOTS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, Jaan Laane filed an application and request with the
City Council of the City of College Station that a twenty foot
(20') public utility easement with ten feet (10') lying on either
side of the property line connecting Southwood 10, Lot 4 (1906
Comal Circle) and Camelot %2, Lot 24 (Lancelot Circle) be
abandoned, and the City Council having heard the request of the
said property owner.
WHEREAS, for and in consideration of the abandonment thereof, the
City Council requested that a temporary blanket utility easement
be executed on both tracts until a new utility easement could be
located thereon.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS=
That the twenty foot (20') public utility easement with ten feet
(10') lying on either side of the property line connecting
Southwood 10, Lot 4 (1906 Comal Circle) and Camelot %2, Lot 24
(Lancelot Circle) is hereby abandoned upon the execution of a
temporary blanket utility easement upon the above-described
properties by Jaan Laane. The Mayor is hereby authorized to hold
the ordinance and execute it upon the acceptance by the City
Attorney of a temporary blanket easement for the above-described
properties.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 24th
day of May, 1984.
