AN ORDINANCE VACATING A FIFTEEN FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT ON THE
NORTHERN SIDE OF LOTS 1 AND 2 OF GARDEN SQUARE SUBDIVISION, AN
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the property owners of Lots 1 and 2 in Garden Square
subdivision have made application and are desirous of utilizing
the fifteen foot (15') utility easement running along the north-
erly side of Lots 1 and 2 of the Garden Square Subdivision, an
addition of the City of College Station, Texas, as shown by plat
filed in Volume 501, Page 475, in the Brazos County Deed Records;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
That said fifteen foot (15') utility easement on Lots 1 and 2 of
the Garden Square Subdivision, an addition to the City of College
Station, Texas, as shown by plat recorded in Volume 501, Page
475, of the Brazos County Deed Records, be vacated and aban-
doned.
The Mayor and City Secretary are hereby authorized to release on
behalf of the City of College Station any claim or right which
the City has in and to said fifteen foot (15') easement area.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this the 12th day of April, 1984.
