AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY
IN THE J. E. SCOTT LEAGUE, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS
AND BEING A PART OF MEADOWLAND STREET A THIRTY FOOT WIDE
RIGHT-OF-WAY AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED ON EXHIBIT "A"
ATTACHED HERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
Pursuant to an application and request filed with the City of
College Station, Texas that a .009 acre wide strip of land
previously dedicated for the purpose of a right-of-way and being
part of Meadowland Street a thirty foot wide right-of-way more
particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A", be abandoned
and vacated; that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized to
release on behalf of the City of College Station any right or
claim which the City has in and to said .009 acre right-of-way
area.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 12th day of April, 1984.

FIELD NOTES OF A STRIP OF MEADOWLAND STREET
ON NHICH TWO BUILDING WALLS OVERLAP IN
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS
F~eld notes of a 0.0099 acre (&30.5 sq
ft) strip of land lying and being situated in the
J. E. Scott League, College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, and being a part of Meadowland Street, a
30.00 wide right-of-way, and being more particularly
descrzbed as follows:
COMMENCING at a point marking the inter-
section of the centerline of the aforementioned
Meadowland Street and the northwesterly right-of-
way line of University Drive (FM 60);
THENCE N 45"37'38" W, along the centerllne'
of the aforementioned Meadowland for a distance
Of 200.41 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE N 44"22'22" E, for a d~stance of
15.00 feet to a point on the northeasterly right-
of-way line of the aforementioned Meadowland Street,
said point being on the southwest wall of a Ramada
Inn building, said point also marking the PLACE
OF BEGINNING of the herein described str~p of land;
THENCE S 45°37'38'' E, along the afore-
mentioned northeasterly r~ght-of-way line of Meadow-
land Street, said right-of-way line pass~ng at 60.01
feet the southeast wall of said existing building,
said southeast wall cornering at the southmost building
corner at a distance o~ 1.77 feet to the southwest,
passing at 10&.3& f~et the northwest wall of another
building which corners at 1ts west corner a distance
of 2.48 feet to the southwest, said building being
80 ft x 50 ft and now or formerly houses Courtea
Half Design and Ben Bailey's Beer & W~ne, passing
at 18&.31 feet the southeast wall of said 80 ft
x 50 ft building, the south corner of which ~s 3.27
feet to the southwest, for a total distance of 200.63
feet to a point for corner of the aforementioned
northwesterly right-of-way l~ne of University Drive
(FM 60),
THENCE S 45"13'58" W, along the afore-
mentioned northwesterly r~ght-of-way line of University
Drive (FM 60) for a distance of 3.27 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE N 45"37'47" W, along a line inside
and approximately parallel to the aforementioned
northeasterly l~ne of Meadowland Street for a

said poxnt marking the south corner of the afore-
mentioned 80 ft x 50 ft building;
THENCE N 45"03'39" W, along the southwest
wall of said 80 ft x 50 ft building for a distance
of 79.96 feet to a point for angle point, said
point marking the west corner of said 80 ft x
50 ft building;
THENCE N 4&"&2'24"' W, for a distance.

THENCE N 45"56'20" W, along th~ south-
