Rogers, President A & M Consolidated School Board, L. S. Richardson, Superintendent of A & M Consolidated A School, Gayle McNutt and Welton Jones representing the Battalion. a QThe Mayor read a letter from the State Fire Insurance Commission Z calling the attention to certain existing conditions which need immediate 'Q study. Action was deferred until the April meeting. On motion by Councilman Pugh, seconded by Councilman Orr, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare an ordinance changing names of certain streets. Request for the change was filed by the Fire Department upon the discovery of duplicate names of streets. The City Manager was instructed to see the parties concerned and to get from them new names which will be acceptable. A petition that the South Knoll Addition be incorporated within the city limits was tabled until the April meeting. A protest from certain residents of College Park that zoning restrictions have been violated in that area was tabled until the April meeting. Messrs. Rogers and Richardson discussed with the council the problem of correction of drainage in the neighborhood of the Lincoln School. The council set the hour of 5 p.m. April S as the time for a special meeting to canvass the returns of the city election of April 2, O 1957. w w City Attorney Dillon requested that the minutes of the February 25, 1957 be corrected to include the following: "It is the opinion of the O City Attorney that a court of competent jurisdiction will need to pass on the subdivision restrictions in College Hills Estates relative to the effect of violations as to the restrictions effectiveness in the future." 0., APPROVED: Cb M �i < Mayor a ZATTEST: I�- City Secretary +�soo /81(
