MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
February ,4, 1957
Members present: Mayor Langford; Councilmen Black, Boyett,
Orr, Seeger, Sorrels; City Manager Boswell.
Purpose of meeting to consider certain items enumerated in
Mayor's call of February A5for special meeting.
On motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Black,
all voting aye, Ordinance No. 243, an ordinance proposing to rezone
certain areas was passed and approved and a public hearing thereon
set for 7:00 p.m., February 25, 1957.
On motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Boyett,
all voting aye, the preliminary plat of the Redmond Terrace sub-
division was approved with the stipulation that the final plat will
show radii of all corners or curves; all angles at boundary corners
together with necessary dimensions to establish these angles; ease-
ments for future streets; all utilities and services; and that the
plat will be referred to the City Engineer for final review.
On motion by Councilman Sorrels, seconded by Councilman
Boyett, all voting aye, the City Manager was authorized to complete
negotiations for the purchase of Lots 19 and 20, Block 9, College
Hills Estates, for the sum of $4,000.
