WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of a combined city/school.
elec~on to be held on the 4th day of May, 1991, fo..r the purpose o..f
electing three councilmembers to the College Station City Council and
two trustees to the CSISD Board of Trustees; and,
WHE~, it appears from said returns, .duly and legally made that a total of
872 valid ballots were cast at said combined election.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
That each of the candidates for the place of councilman, City of College Station,
received the following number of votes in said election:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
That said elec~on was duly called, that notice of said election was given ~
accordance with law; that Larry I. Ringer, .Mayor, is hereby authorized to sign
the statement of Canvass of General Election, which shall be attached to and
become a part of this Resolution and a copy of which shall be retained by the
custodian of the election records, and
That, Fred Brown was duly elected to City Council Place 1; that Lynn
Mcllhaney was d..ul, y elected to City Council Place 3; and that Jim Gardner was
duly elected to Czty Council Place 5.
Said above named.partie.s are hereby declared duly elected to said respective
offices, subject to the takingof their oaths ~f office as provided by the laws of
the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of College Station.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 8TH DAY OF MAY, 1991.
