HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-11-92-1.10 - Resolution - 06/11/1992RESOLUTION NO. 6-11-92-1.10 WHEREAS, Chapter 395, Texas Local Government Code defines the procedure for the implementation of a local impact fee; WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council has expressed an interest in the adoption of an Impact Fee Ordinance for the newly annexed area of Graham Road and possibly other future areas as the need may arise; WHEREAS, Chapter 395, Texas Local Government Code provides that the City Planning and Zoning Commission may serve as the Impact Fee Advisory Committee; WHEREAS, the current make up of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of College Station includes one member who is a representative of the real estate, development or building industry who is not an employee or official of the City; WHEREAS, in the event that the make up of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of College Station changes such that none of the members of the real estate, development or building industry are represented then the City Council shall appoint an individual from the real estate, development or build- ing industry who is not an employee or official of the City of College Station; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of College Station is hereby appointed to act as the Impact Fee Advisory Committee for the City of College Station.
