BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: Pursuant to an application and request filed with the City of College Station, Texas that a four (4) square foot tract or par- cel of land being a part of Lot 23, of the Chimney Hill Addition to the City of College Station, and being located in the north- east right-of-way line of Ember Glow Circle, more particularly described on the attached Exhibit No. l, be abandoned and va- cated, the City Council of the City of College Station hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Secretary to execute a quit- claim deed to said parcel of land to Ruth Taylor, Individually and as Executor of the Estate of T.D. Taylor. PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 22nd day of January 19 87 APPROVED: ATTEST: Dian Jon~City Secretary 004942 Application to Vacate Utility Easement No. EXHIBIT NO. 1 Four (4) Square Foot Tract Part of Lot 23 Chimney Hill Addition Volume 476, Page ll3 Richard Carter Survey, A-8 College Station, Brazos County, Texas Field notes of a four (4) square foot tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Richard Carter Survey, Abstract No. 8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being a part of Lot 23, of the Chimney Hill Addition to the City of College Station, the final plat of same being recorded in Volume 476, Page ll3, of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said four square foot tract being more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at the common front corner of Lot 22 and Lot 23 of the said Chimney Hill Addition and being located in the northeast right-of-way line of Ember Glow Circle; THENCE S 44° 57" 00"' E along the northeast right-of-way line of Ember Glow Circle, for a distance of lO.O0 feet to the southeast line of a 20 foot wide public utility easement; THENCE N 45e 03' 00" E along the southeast line of the said 20 foot wide public utility easement, for a distance of 75.66 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING of this four square foot description, said point being 0.25 feet southwest of the concrete foundation of an existing garage; THENCE across the said 20 foot wide public utility easement as follows: N 21° 45' 17" W N 68° 14' 43" E 1.85 feet, 4.32 feet and corner in the southeast line of the said 20 foot wide public utility easement; THENCE S 45° 03" 00"" W along the said southeast line of the said 20 foot wide public utility easement, for a distance of 4.70 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing 4 square feet of land, more or less.
