AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4~ SECTION ]OD OF THE CODE OF ORDI-
NANCES OP THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS DEALING WITH THE
PROPER EQUIPMENT TO HE CARRIED ON AUTOMOBILE WRECKERS OPERATING
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STA-
TION~ TEXAS:
That Chapter 4, Section 10D of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of College Station is hereby amended to read as follows:
"D. INSPECTION OF VEHICLES
Every vehicle to be used by the applicant in the wrecker
business shall be inspected by the Chief of Police or his
delegate prior to the issuance of a permit to ascertain if
it has the following:
(1) Current safety inspection certificate.
(2) Title number.
(3) One (1) fire extinguisher,
least 10 ~ or equivalent.
type ABC dry chemical, at
(4) Four (4) red hand flags.
(5) Lights set sufficient to provide brake light and tail
light maximum towed load (load lights).
(6) Broom and scoop.
(7) Approved emergency overhead flashing beacons."
