A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC1L OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, BRAZOS COUNTY, STATE OF TEXAS, APPOINTING THE ELECTION
OFFICIALS FOR THE NOVEMBER 3, 1998 SPECIAL ELECTION, SETTING THE
RATE OF PAY FOR OFFICIALS AND THE MAX1MUM NUMBER OF CLERKS FOR
EACH POLLING PLACE.
Whereas, on September 3, 1998, the City Council of the City of College Station, ordered a
special bond election as part of the November 3rd state and county general election ballot.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, THAT:
The following individuals, registered voters of Brazos County shall be and are hereby
appointed to serve in said election:
Polling Place No. 2 (consisting of County Voting Precincts No. 2, 82) at Wellborn Water
Supply Corporation, 4118 Greens Prairie Road West;
Presiding Judge: Roy Henry Alternate Judge: Mary Ann Tilley
Polling Place No. 8 (consisting of County Voting Precinct No. 8) at South Knoll Elementary
School, 1220 Boswell;

In accordance with Section 32.091 of the Texas Election Code, the judges and clerks shall
be paid $6.00 per hour and the presiding judge shall receive an additional $25.00 for
delivery of returns to Central Counting Station at the Brazos Center. There shall be a
minimum of three and no more than four clerks at each polling place.
