RESOLUTION NO. 1.0-22-98-8.6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, APPOINTING THE DIRECTOR OF
FISCAL SERVICES TO CONDUCT THE REQUIRED ANNUAL AUDIT
OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S SEIZURE/FORFEITURE RECORDS
AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Texas Legislature amended the Code of Criminal
Procedure Chapter 59, requiring that the governing body of each
municipality conduct an annual audit of Police Seizure/Forfeiture records;
WHEREAS, the Director of Fiscal Services would be the appropriate
position to conduct these audits;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of
College Station, Texas, that;
The City of College Station hereby appoints and directs the Director of
Fiscal Services to perform the required annual audit.
Passed and approved this 22th day of October, 1998.
