A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR VETERANS PARK AND ATHLETIC COMPLEX
DESIGN SERVICES PHASE I.
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by O'Malley
Engineers; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with O'Malley Engineers for an
amount not to exceed $168,200.00, for the design of the Veterans Park and Athletic
Complex Phase I.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that O'Malley Engineers is the most highly qualified
provider of the services for Veterans Park and Athletic Complex Phase I Design, on the
basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Parks and Recreation
Department Capital Budget in the amount of $168,200.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 28th day of OCTOBER ., A.D., 1999.
