AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 1.988 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING
SITUATED IN THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, A-B, COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS
ORDINANCE, FROM TOWNHOUSE-ROWHOUSE DISTRICT R-3 TO
ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT A-P.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIl, OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council hold a publmc hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 P.M. on Juno 13, 1985, on the question of rezonlng certain
aroas within the City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 1.q88 acre tract or
parcel of land lying and being situated tn the Richard Carter
League, A-6, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being
part of the 91.9H4 acre tract conveyed to Brazosland Properties,
inc. by F. W. Wheeler, Trustee, ~n the Deed recorded in Volume
485, Page 499 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and
being more particularly described as fo/lows:
COMMENCING at a point marking the point of intersection of
the northwest right-of-way line of Brszoswood Drive and the
southwest right-of-way line of the State Highway No. 6 East
Bypass, said point being located tn a northeast line of the
91.984 acres tract;
THENCE S 53050'43" W alone the northwest right-of-way line
of Brazoswood Drive for' a distance of 256.84 feet to a point for
the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract of land;
THENCE S 53050'43'' W along the northwest right-of-way line
of Btazoswood Drive for a distance of 270.00 feet to a point for
THENCE N 36°09"17" W for a distance of 274.88 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE N 53°50'43" E for a distance of 360.00 feet to a
point for corner;
THENCE S 36°09']7'' E for a distance of 70.00 feet to a point
for corner;
THENCE S 02°26'27'' E for n distance of 162.15 feet to a
point for corner;

THENCE S $6°09'I7'' E for a distance of 70.00 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING contain~ng 1.988 acres of land, more or less,
from Townhouse-Rowhouse Distr~ct R-3 to Administrative
Professional District A-P.
And, it is ordained that said changes shall become effectively
immediately.
