A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR ANDERSON STREET
REHABILITATIONAND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for
a construction project on Anderson Street Rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, a construction contract for the Anderson Street Rehabilitation Project has
been signed and completed by the Contractor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Young
Contractors, Inc. for $474,116.10 for the rehabilitation qf Anderson Street consisting of
pavement from Park Place to Southwest Parkway including replacement of certain
sections of curb and gutter.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby finds that Young Contractors is the lowest
responsible bidder.
PART 3: That the funding For this project shall be as budgeted from the Capital
Projects for $474,116.10.
PART 4:
passage.
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
ADOPTED this 25th day of MARCH
