AN ORDINANCE REZONING TWO TRACTS OF LAND LYING AND BEING SITUATED
IN THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, A-8 IN COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS
IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-
I AND APARTMENTS HIGH DENSITY DISTRICT R-6 TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT C-1 AND ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT A-P.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April Il, 1985, on the question of
resoning certain areas within the City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of the
tracts of land, both lying and being situated
Carter League, College Station, Brasos County,
more particularly described as follows:

Being all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the Richard Carter League, A-8 xn College Station,
Brazos County, Texas and being all of that 0.5227 acres of part
of TRACT NO. 2 which is part of lot 22, D.A. SMITH SUBDIVISION
Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows:
COMMENCING: at an iron rod marking the xntersection of the northwest
right-of-way line of Banks Street and the southwest right-of-way
line of Chappel Street;
THENCE: N 46°50'00M W along said Chappel Street right-of-way for
a distance of 60.00 feet to an iron rod, said point being the the
most easterly corner of the 0.5227 acre parcel and Tract No. 2, same
poxnt being the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE: S 43°10'00'' W for a distance of 198.00 feet to an iron
rod marking the most southerly corner of said 0.5227 acre parcel
and Tract No. 2;
THENCE: N 46°53'56" W for a distance of 114.96 feet to a fence
post marking the most westerly corner of said parcel;
THENCE: N 43°10'00" E for a distance of 198.13 feet to a point
marking the most northly corner of said parcel;
THENCE: S 46'50'00'* E for a distance of 114.96 feet along the
Chappel Street right-of-way to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing
0.5227 acres of land, more or less, from Apartments High Density
D~strict R-6 to Administrative-Professional Dxstrxct A-P.

Being all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the Nichard Carter League, A-8 in College Station,
Erazos County, Texas and being all of that 1.6007 acres of part of
Tract No. 2 which xs part of lot 22, B.A. SMITH SUBDIVISION ,and
also part of Block G, COLLEGE HEIGHTS ADDITION, Brasos County,
Texas and being more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
COMMENCING: at an iron rod marking the intersection of the
northwest rxght-of-way lxne of Banks Street and the southwest
r~ght-of-way line of Chappel Street;
THENCE: N 46'50'00" W along said Chappel Street right-of-way for
a d~stance of 174.96 feet to a point, said point being the most
easterly corner of the 1.6007 acre parcel, same point being the
POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE: S 43'10'00" # for a distance of 198.13 feet to a fence
post marking the most southerly corner of said 1.6007 acre parcel;
THENCE: N 46°47'57'' W for a distance of 220.74 feet to an ~ron
p~pe for corner;
THENCE: N 43'10'00" E for a distance of 38.00 feet to to an iron
rod for corner;
THENCE: N 46'50'00" # for a distance of 145.90 feet to an ~ron
rod marking the most westerly corner of said 1.6007 parcel and
Tract No. 2;
THENCE: N 28'58'00" E along the southeastern right-of-way line of
East University Drive for a distance of 96.64 feet to an iron rod
for corner;
THENCE: N 43'00'00'* E continuing along said right-of-way line for
a distance of 66.01 feet to an iron rod marking the most
northerly corner of said 1.6007 acre parcel and Tract No. 2;
THENCE: S 46'56'00" E for a distance of 169.80 feet to an xron
pipe marking corner;
THENCE: S 46'50'00" E for a distance of 220.74 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING and containxng 1.6007 acres of land, more or less,
from General Commercial D~strict C-1 and Apartments High Density
District R-6 to General Commercial District C-1.
