A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A SERVICE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE AND
INSTALLATION OF A 50 TON A/C CHILLER REPLACEMENT AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for
a service contract to install a 50 ton A/C chiller replacement; and
WHEREAS, a service contract for the purchase and installation of a 50 ton A/C chiller
replacement has been signed and completed by the Contractor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Area Wide
Mechanical for $29,625 for the purchase and installation of a 50 ton A/C
chiller at the Police Building.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that Area Wide Mechanical is the
lowest responsible bidder.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the General
Fund, Facilities Maintenance.
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
