AN ORDINANCE REZONXNG A 3.00 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE MORGAN
RECTOR LEAOUE, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS
ORDINANCE, FROM ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT A-P TO
PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a
Center at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday,
of rezoning certain areas within
public hearing in the Community
March 28, 1985, on the question
the City limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a 3.00 acre tract or
parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector
League, Abstract No. 46, Brazos County, Texas, and being part of
a 6.9019 acres conveyed to Republic Bank A&M by Interstate
Promotional Printing Co. by deed recorded in Volume 497, Page
491, Deed Records, Brazos County, Texas and being more
particularly described as follows:
BEOINNING at a concrete monument marking the intersection of the
easterly right of way line of Texas Avenue with the northerly
right of way line of State Highway 6 (East Bypass), said monument
also marking the southwesternmost corner of the 6.9019 acre
tract;
THENCE N 47°52'25" W along the easterly right of way line of
Texas Avenue for a distance of 99.70' to an iron rod;
THENCE N 48°21'34'' # continuing along the easterly r~ght of way
line of Texas Avenue for a distance of 167.90' to an iron rod;
THENCE N 42°40'24'' E for a distance of 504.17';
THENCE S 47°19'36" E for a distance of 253.11' to a point on the
northerly right of way line of State Highway 6 (Rest Bypass);

THBNCE S 41'1'7" W continuing along the northerly right of way
line off said Bast Bypass, for a distance of 500.4' to a concrete
monument which is also the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 3.00000
acres approximately, ffrom Admioistrative-Proffessional District
A-P to Planned Commercial Bistrict C-3.
And it is ordained that said change shall become efffective
immediately.
