A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS CASTING ITS 388 VOTES FOR THE BRAZOS COUNTY APPRAISAL
DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
WHEREAS, Section 6.03 of the Texas Property Tax Code provides for the nomination and
election of the board of directors of each county appraisal district; and
WHEREAS, on December 31, 1999 the terms of the five members of the Brazos County
Appraisal District Board of Directors expires; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City College Station, Texas, as a voting unit of the county
appraisal district, may choose to cast one, some or all of its votes for one, some or all of the
persons nominated to serve as director(s) of the appraisal district; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
Part 1. It hereby casts all of its 388 votes for Mr. R. E. "Bob" Joiner, for the office of Brazos
County Appraisal District Board of Directors.
Part 2. That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 11th day of November, A.D., 1999.
