A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING AND SETTING THE SEVERANCE PAY FOR CITY MANAGER
GEORGE K. NOE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of College Station has tendered his resignation as of September 8,
1999; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has accepted his resignation as of September 8, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council and Mr. George K. Noe agree that his resignation of
September 8, 1999, fits the definition for "Termination" as provided by page 2,
"n .... Termination" and page 3, Article IV, paragraphs (A) and (B), "Severance
Pay."
PART 2:
That the City Council further agrees that the City of College Station will
reimburse Mr. George K. Noe for additional expenses incurred in his capacity as
City Manager in the amount of $770.00.
PART 3'
That the City Council agrees that the City of College Station will provide
insurance coverage for six (6) months or until Mr. Noe obtains other full-time
employment, which ever comes first.
PART 4:
That Mr. George K. Noe agrees to provide assistance, cooperation and advice to
the City Council and the City Manager of College Station, upon their request, for
the next six (6) months, to insure that all City projects are continued and kept on
schedule.
PART 5: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 2 2nd.
