AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 1.8912 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE RICHARD CARTER SURVEY ABSTRACT #8
BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING A PORTION OF A 13.5~ ACRE TRACT CONVEYED TO UNIVERSITY
EAST JOINT VENTURE BY SYLVIA PATE WILLINGHAH BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 398, PAGE 709
OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING HORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY
NETES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE, FROH ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT
A-P TO GENERAL CORHERCIAL DISTRICT C-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.H. on Thurs-
day, January 10, 1985, on the question of rezonlng certain areas within
the City Limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Councll has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classiflcation of all that certain 1.8912 acre tract out of the
Richard Carter Survey Abstract #8 Brazos County, Texas and being a portion of a 13.54
acre tract conveyed to University East Joint Venture by Sylvia Pate Willlngham by
deed recorded in Volume 398, Page 709 of the deed records of Brazos County, Texas, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the south right-of-way llne of University Drive, said point
being the northerly corner of said 13.54 acre tract;
THENCE S 45°28'00'' E, 188.22 feet along the northeast line of said 13.54 acre tract
to a point for the most easterly corner of this tract,
THENCE $ 4h°31'58'' U, 340.h6 feet to a point for the most southerly corner of this tract,
THENCE N 45028'02'' W, 62.30 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE along a curve to the right whose cord bears N 31°30'31'' W, with a cord length
of 144.73 feet and a radius of 300.00 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE N 17%3'OO" ~, 130.21 feet to a point lying in the south right-of-way of Univer-
sity Drive, said point being the most westerly corner of this tract;
THENCE N 72°27'OO'' E, 276.80 feet along the south right-of-way of University Drive
to the POINT OF BEGINfllNG and containing 1.8912 acres of land, more or less, from
AdminlstraLive-Professional District A-P to General Commerclal District C-1.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
