A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, CONDITIONALLY APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE
PHASE I BIKE LOOP PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of the
Phase I Bike Loop Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of N-Line Traffic Maintenance is being recommended as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction services related to Phase I Bike Loop Project; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that N-Line Traffic Maintenance is the
lowest responsible bidder.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby conditionally accepts the bid submitted by
N-Line Traffic Maintenance for $122,958.71 for the labor, materials and
equipment required for the improvements related the Phase I Bike Loop
Project and conditionally approves the contract.
PART 3:
That the City Council accepts the bid submitted N-Line Traffic
Maintenance and approves the contract conditioned upon TxDOT's review
and approval of the bid received in accordance with the Bike Loop
Development Agreement with TxDOT.
PART 4:
That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Capital
Improvement Fund, Bike Loop Project (ST9409), in the amount of
$122,958.71.
PART 5: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 13th day of April, A.D. 2000.
