A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS FOR DESIGN AND PERMITTING SERVICES RELATED TO WOLF PEN CREEK
CHANNEL IMPROVEMENTS FROM TEXAS AVENUE TO EARL RUDDER FREEWAY
SOUTH.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station solicited proposals for professional services for the
design and permitting services for the Wolf Pen Creek Channel Improvements from Texas
Avenue to Earl Rudder Freeway South; and
WHEREAS, the selection of McClure Engineering, Inc., is being recommended as the most
highly qualified provider of the design and permitting services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby finds that McClure Engineering, Inc. is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for Wolf Pen Creek Channel
Improvements on the basis of the demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with McClure Engineering,
Inc., for an amount not to exceed $300,700.00, for design and permitting services
related to Wolf Pen Creek Channel Improvements from Texas Avenue to Earl
Rudder Freeway South.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from Drainage Utility Funds
totaling $1,300,000.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, A.D. 2000.
