A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL DESIGNS OF THE WOLF PEN CREEK
TRAIL SYSTEM FROM TEXAS AVENUE TO DARTMOUTH.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station solicited proposals for professional services for the
preliminary and final designs of the Wolf Pen Creek Trail System from Texas Avenue to
Dartmouth; and
WHEREAS, the selection of McClure Engineering, Inc., is being recommended as the most
highly qualified provider of the professional services for the preliminary and final designs; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby finds that McClure Engineering, Inc. is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for Wolf Pen Creek Trail System on
the basis of the demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with McClure
Engineering, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $82,500.00 for preliminary and
final designs of Wolf Pen Creek trail system from Texas Avenue to
Dartmouth.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from Wolf Pen Creek
TIF totaling $3,250,000.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, A.D. 2000.
