A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
CONSULTANT CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR
ELECTRIC DEREGULATION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited proposals for consulting services
relating to the Development and Implementation of a Strategic Plan for the Electric Deregulation
Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Navigant Consulting, Inc. is being recommended as the most highly
qualified provider of the consulting services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby finds that Navigant Consulting, Inc. is the
most highly qualified provider of the services for Development and
Implementation of a Strategic Plan for Electric Deregulation Project on the
basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Navigant
Consulting, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $250,000 for the consulting
services related to the Development and Implementation of a Strategic
Plan for Electric Deregulation Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Electric
Fund in the amount of $250,000.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 13th day of July, A.D. 2000.
