HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-27-2000-13.09 - Resolution - 04/27/2000RESOLUTION NO. 04-27-00-13.09 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BRAZOS COUNTY, STATE OF TEXAS, APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE MAY 6, 2000 GENERAL CITY COUNCIL ELECTION. Whereas, on February 10, 2000, the City Council of the City of College Station ordered a general election for the purposes of electing a Mayor, Council Members Places 2, 4, and 6. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1: The following persons early ballots: Presiding Judge: Clerks: are hereby appointed as the Early Ballot Board to count the Kay Parker 1105 San Saba College Station, Texas 77845 Steve Parker 1105 San Saba College Station, Texas 77845 Lois Beach 1816 Brothers Blvd. College Station, Texas 77845 SECTION 2: The Council Chambers in the College Station City Hall is hereby established as Central Counting Station to receive ballots for said election, the ballots to be tabulated and returned to the office of the City Secretary for the required retention period. The following persons are hereby authorized and appointed as persons employed and designated to handle the ballots, operate the tabulating equipment, and count the ballots.
