A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR PHASE II OF THE BIKE
LOOP PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of the
Bike Loop - Phase II Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Jerdon Enterprises, Inc. is being recommended as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction services related to Phase II of the Bike Loop Project;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that Jerdon Enterprises, Inc. is the
lowest responsible bidder.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby conditionally accepts the bid submitted by
Jerdon Enterprises, Inc. for $704,911.30 for the labor, materials and
equipment required for the improvements related to the Bike Loop Project
- Phase II and conditionally approved the contract.
PART 3:
That the City Council accepts the bid submitted by Jerdon Enterprises,
Inc. and approves the contract conditioned upon TxDOT's review and
approval of the bid received in accordance with the Bike Loop
Development Agreement with TxDOT.
PART 4:
That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Capital
Improvement Projects Fund, Bike Loop Project (ST9409), in the amount
of $704,911.30.
PART 5: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
