A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE WEST DISTRICT MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOR THE PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND AMENDMENT TO SAME TO REMOVE ALL
AIA GENERAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS FROM THE BID
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of the
West District Maintenance Facility Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Jacody, Inc. is being recommended as the lowest responsible bidder
for the construction services related to the West District Maintenance Facility Project; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1' That the City Council hereby finds that Jacody, Inc. is the lowest
responsible bidder.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Jacody, Inc. and
amend the same in order to remove all AIA general and supplementary
conditions from the bid specifications. Contract amount of $409,323.00 is
for the labor, materials and equipment required for the improvements
related the West District Maintenance Facility Project.
PART 3:
That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Parks
Projects Fund, 1998 Bond Program, Parks & Recreation Department in the
amount of $409,323.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June, A.D. 2000.
