A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE SOUTHSIDE
TRAFFIC CALMING PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of the
Southside Traffic Calming Project; and
WHEREAS, the selection of CDS Enterprises, Inc. dba Texcon General Contractors is being
recommended as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction services related to Southside
, Traffic Calming Project; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that CDS Enterprises, Inc. dba Texcon
General Contractors is the lowest responsible bidder.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with CDS Enterprises,
Inc. dba Texcon General Contractors for the base bid of $76,633.00 and
the alternate in the amount of $16,400.00 for a total of $93,033.00 for the
labor, materials and equipment required for the improvements related the
Iiiie Southside Traffic Calming Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Streets
Capital Improvements fund under the Neighborhood CIP Improvements
Fund in the amount of $93,033.00
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 18 day of December, A.D. 2003.
